Can I mount the 8-Gallon Tank on its side, or upside down?

Yes, you can mount the 8-Gallon Tank on it's side. You'll just need to make sure that the spout is on the lower side. That means if you mount it on the passenger side, the spout will face the rear of the vehicle and if you mount on the driver's side it'll face the front. You cannot mount it upside down, however. At least, not with Earth's gravity.
