What is the durability of the fabric used on Klymit sleeping pads? What does the difference in denier mean?

Our sleeping pads are made using a polyester material. The thicker the fabric, the higher the Denier. Most of our pads have either a standard 75 Denier fabric or a 30 Denier fabric. Both are equally durable. The lower denier is used in some of our ultralight pads to help decrease the overall weight.
