How should I store my sleeping pad?

You can store your pad folded and rolled up neatly in the stuff sack that it comes in or laid flat.

Before storing, be sure to wipe the pad down with a damp cloth to remove any dirt that might be present (see How do I wash my Klymit sleeping pad?). Make sure the pad and bag are both thoroughly dry and that the valve is open before storing the pad for long periods of time.

We recommend deflating/flipping the valve on your pad to "deflate" and then perform a quick roll to expel most of the air out of the pad. After the quick roll, unroll your pad and then start to roll it up again, slowly and tightly this time, to expel the last bit of remaining air that may be in the pad.
